The Science of Tracking Fertility Hormones
Fertility tracking and ovulation predictions can be difficult to grasp. To be accurate, you need deeply reliable, personalized, and comprehensive data — this is what we’re here for.
Fertility Awareness Method
Fam (Fertility Awareness Method), a fertility management method for shecare, identifies the pregnant period of women in the menstrual cycle through natural biological indicators, such as basal body temperature and cervical mucus. Through these indicators, bbt tracking app can help women detect the beginning and end of pregnancy, and help women determine when to ovulate in a natural and healthy way. shecare app can automatically draw the basic body temperature curve to help users judge whether to ovulate or not, hormone levels, and threatened abortion occur.
Shecare makes the ovulation analysis more accurate combined with the smart test kit such as bulk ovulation strips, and smart thermometer such as high accuracy digital thermometer
Most people think that BBT rises straight after ovulation. This isn't strictly true. Some women experience a shift in BBT that takes 2-3 days to reach the temperatures it will remain at for the luteal phase - everybody is different. This is why it's always a good idea to combine BBT with hormone and symptom tracking to get a much clearer idea of when your fertile window is.
Fertility hormone shifts are accurate predictors of ovulation and peak fertility. During a menstrual cycle, a sudden increase of the Luteinizing Hormone (LH) triggers the release of a mature egg from the ovary — this is defined as ovulation.
The LH hormone concentration can be measured in urine, therefore, a sharp surge of LH in urine indicates ovulation is about to take place within 24-48 hours. These are your two most fertile days, so, if you're trying to conceive, this is your best time to try!
Many women chose to track LH using LH test strips or Ovulation Predictor Kits (OPK's). OPK's measure the levels of LH in the urine and are usually held in the urine stream or into a sample of urine for around 10 seconds. Unfortunately, with most OPKs, it can be quite difficult to read the difference between high and peak.Shecare's algorithm with completely independent intellectual
property rights combines multidimensional hormone time series analysis
with deep learning and natural language technology on an ovulation test.
This algorithm based on the natural cycle data of millions of users
including menstrual periods, basal body temperature, LH test strips, and
cervical mucus can smartly lead you to the exact ovulation day and
increase the chance of conception.
Recommended by WHO
The natural method of birth control is 89%[1] accurate in ascertaining ovulation day and up to 98%[2] effective in avoiding pregnancy, equal to contraceptive pills.
